Yes, that is normal for holiday and investment properties. We work from photos and a description, need outside water and access, and send before-and-after photography so you can see exactly what was done.
Our roof is covered in grey lichen — can it be saved?
Usually. Lichen is treated rather than scraped or blasted, because both of those take the tile surface with them. A biocide treatment kills it and the roof continues to improve over the following weeks as the dead growth weathers away.
